Hopferau Castle has a long tradition of hospitality. After all, it’s the oldest castle in the eastern Allgäu region.
You can choose from 17 generously sized and finely appointed rooms in four different categories. All Rooms are located quitely and feature mattresses (soft or firm), private bathrooms with shower and hair dryer, LED TV, Omniport and telephone. All rooms have a wonderful view on the village or the castle grounds. Free Wifi is included and available in the entire Castle.
Lord of the castle suite
Located on the top floor of the historic building, the tastefully furnished bel étage offers a wonderful view of the castle park and the alpine panorama. It impresses with its generosity, comfort, simple elegance and style-defining details.
The suite consists of a spacious living / dining area (approx. 62 sqm) with many contemporary amenities as well as an open kitchen (16 sqm) and a noble bedroom (approx. 22 sqm).
The bedroom of the exclusive lord of the castle suite has a 180 x 200cm bed with separate mattresses and an approx. 5 sqm bathroom with shower.
On request, two additional bedrooms can be booked in addition to the lord of the castle suite on the 140 sqm top floor.
The second bedroom is approximately 15 square meters, has a 160 x 200 cm queen bed.
Red salon
The approximately 22sqm bedroom has a 180 x 220cm bed with separate mattresses.
Superior Junior and Superior Senior Rooms
Our exclusive superior junior (28 sqm) or senior rooms (38 sqm) have 180 x 200cm beds with separate mattresses and bathrooms with bathtub and shower.
Comfort Senior Rooms
Our spacious Comfort Senior rooms are between 18 and 22 square meters and have 160 x 200 cm or 180 x 200 cm beds with separate mattresses.
Comfort Junior Rooms
Our Comfort Junior Rooms have 160 x 200cm double beds or twin beds 90 * 200cm and are between 16-18 square meters.
Single Rooms
The single rooms in the annex and in the historical part of the castle are between 16 and 21 square meters and have a bathroom with shower.
If you stay in our castle, you will receive a Königscard and our rich breakfast buffet with a large selection of regional products.
Half board
Our half-board consists of an evening menu with several courses (starter, different main courses to choose from, dessert) from 45 € per person.
Baby Cot
10 € per day on request.
Extra beds
30 € per day on request (not possible in every room).
Pets are allowed
We charge 15 € per animal per night (without food).
Business travellers
We offer business travellers a discount on our rooms. Single rooms can be booked for as little as € 80 per night.
Additional Information
All rooms were completely redesigned and furnished in 2012 and are equipped with Loewe LED TV, direct-dial telephone and free Wi-Fi. They also have a private bathroom with a shower and / or bathtub and a hairdryer.
Check-in is possible from 3 pm. Please call us if you would like to arrive earlier or arrive in Hopferau after 6 pm.
Local visitor’s tax in Hopferau is € 1.30 per person per night, € 0.70 for children from 7 to 17 years.
A rich breakfast buffet awaits you from 7 to 10 am.
If you would like your breakfast at a different time, please let us know the day before. For an extra charge, we serve your breakfast in the room.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to leave the room by 11 am. You can pay the hotel bill in cash, with EC / Giro Card and major credit cards.
Free parking is available at the house.
Cancellations of standard rates are free of charge up to 72 hours (3 days) before arrival.
